Terms & COnditions

The terms "we" "our" and "us" refer to the business and premises, Löyly Village Sauna & Cold Plunge. The terms "you", "your", "they", "their", "guest" and or "guests" refer to the customers/clients of the business. 

Bookings
Bookings are available via our online booking system on the Sessions page of our website, which is processed via Acuity Scheduling. For private hires, bookings must be arranged with us directly via email or by using the enquiry form on our Contact us page.

 

Bookings are available a minimum of 3 hours before the start time of the desired session time slot, and a maximum of 365 days in advance. If you need to reschedule or cancel your booking, you must contact us ASAP via phone or email, details of which are provided on our Contact us page.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel your booking, we require a minimum of 48 hours notice in order to provide an alternative option to reschedule your booking for a future date/time. Any cancellation with less than 24hrs notice are not eligible for a refund, and repeat instances of late cancellations may affect future ability to book sauna & cold plunge sessions with us. In extenuating circumstances, we may be able to discuss moving your booking to a later date, however this is at our discretion and is not a guarantee of services.

 

Payments

We accept payments via cash, credit and debit card, NFC mobile payments, and services including ApplePay and Paypal. We do not accept payment via cheque. 

Sauna Etiquette, Hygiene, & Behaviour

You must be 18 years of age or older in order to use our facilities. We require that for all shared sauna sessions, guests must wear appropriate swimwear for their sauna and cold plunge session, and arrive in an acceptable state of hygiene to use our facilities. Showers are available on-site, and are required before and after using the sauna and plunge pool.

The sauna is a communal space for everyone, we ask that are you respectful of your fellow sauna-goers and share the space in a considerate and reasonable way. If you leave the sauna to take a break, or are finished with your sauna session, please take your towel with you, so that other guests have freedom to relocate within the sauna.

Unacceptable and or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated towards our guests or staff, this is a friendly and inclusive community space where everyone is welcome. If any guest (or guests) are found to be causing disruption to the safety, wellbeing, and or reasonable enjoyment of other guests due to unacceptable and or anti-social behaviour, we reserve the right to cancel that guest (or guests) booking without reimbursement and they will be asked to leave the premises immediately.

Health, Medical Conditions & Pregancy

We require that any guests feeling generally unwell (cold/flu etc symptoms) do not book in until they are feeling better. This is for your own health and wellbeing and the consideration and wellbeing of our other guests.

 

Your health and wellbeing are very important to us. If you have a pre-existing medical condition, or are pregnant, we strongly advise you to seek advice from your GP/Fertility/Medical Professional before making a booking with us.

 

We are unable to take liability for any issues caused by sauna & cold plunge that would contradict advice from your GP/Fertility/Medical Professional, and usage of the sauna & cold plunge is done at your own risk.
 

Prohibited / Banned Items
We do not permit the use of any external oils/scents/scrubs/body products - this is for hygenic, allergen, cleanliness purposes, and the consideration and wellbeing of our other guests.

We do not permit the use of vapes, cigarettes/e-cigarettes, or consumption of illegal substances, alcohol whilst on our premises.

 

If we have reason to suspect you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, we reserve the right to cancel your booking without reimbursement and you will be asked to leave the premises.

Accessibility

Unfortunately, our facilities are not currently accessible for wheelchairs users, persons that require step-free access, or have difficulty with stairs, as our sauna & cold plunge facilities are located upstairs, on the first floor. We have made effort to make our website accessible to users with visual, mobility, and cognitive processing via Wix's Accessibilty Wizard, however if you come across something you think needs attention, please get in touch with us via the contact information below and we will work on improving it.

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is very important to us. The information we collect from you is used for the expressed purpose of creating and managing your bookings, and we will never divulge your information to third-parties. From time to time, we may need to contact you with transactional correspondence in relation to your booking or repeat subscription to future bookings. If you have opted in for our marketing emails, we will send you marketing materials from time to time in relation to new sessions, features, and offers available with us. You reserve the right to opt out of these emails at any time.
